Mike Spencer

Data Science Associate

Mike is a research data science leader working across domains like social science, economics and climate. Mike loves helping others join the dots with disparate data sources to answer real world questions, e.g. citizen science, remote sensing, modelling and surveys.

Mike has a PhD from the School of GeoSciences at Edinburgh University and a BSc from Lancaster University's Environment Centre. He's a Fellow of the Royal Statistical Society, a Member of the Society of Research Software Engineering and convenes the EdinbR user group.
