Hannah Khwaja
Analysis and Impact Lead
Hannah is an experienced researcher who has worked in the nonprofit sector for over a decade. She provides varied research and analysis services for our clients as well as designing and delivering training to support the effective use of data in nonprofit organisations. She is particularly skilled in synthesising and communicating complex information for a range of audiences, from frontline staff and volunteers to senior leaders and data professionals.
Hannah also supports clients in working with theory of change to identify and measure clear organisational or project-level outcomes and impact.
Hannah has an MSc in Conservation and Biodiversity and a BSc in Zoology. Before joining Data Orchard, she worked in wildlife conservation, using data to answer questions about a variety of species from badgers to pangolins. She also has experience of grant administration, database management and coordinating community projects.
She is curious, values-driven, and passionate about helping people to make better use of data to tackle social, environmental and economic challenges.
Hannah lives in Chester with her partner and rescue cats Ruby and Tiny. She is a lover of nature and enjoys walking, horse-riding and reading.
